Modern Eggshell is our very hard wearing mid sheen finish that is available in all of our 132 colours. Used to update floors, stairs, skirting boards and even to freshen up kitchen units and cupboards, Modern Eggshell offers an even more durable (and slightly glossier) alternative to our Estate Eggshell.

Exterior Eggshell is a durable silk sheen finish ideal for exterior softwood and hardwood window frames, cladding and garden furniture, as well as on railings, gates, guttering and other metal surfaces, and comes in all 132 of our colours. Flexible but hard-wearing this breathable finish can be used to inject colour onto almost anything in the garden.

Exterior Masonry  is our super-matt, long-lasting finish for exterior walls. Its water-resistant formula protects walls, while at the same time offering the highest level of water vapour permeability to allow them to breathe. Applied in line with our Product Advice Sheets, it resists flaking, peeling, and fading for up to 15 years.

Full Gloss is our extremely versatile and high sheen finish perfect for both interior and exterior wood and metal, and comes in all of our 132 colours. With its reflective finish and high durability, Full Gloss offers a dramatic statement that can be used on surfaces throughout the interior and exterior of the home.

Dead Flat  is our multi-surface, ultra matt finish for walls, woodwork and metal, with added toughness. Developed by Farrow & Ball over 70 years ago to recreate the 18th century ‘flatted lead’ paint effect. This traditional method originally involved teams of artisans painstakingly layering coats of paint to build a deep, rich and pigmented matt look, which was often reserved for the formal reception rooms of a house due to the work involved.

Flat Eggshell is our new, low sheen, super-tough finish for interior wood, metal and concrete. Scrubbable, stain-resistant and scuff-resistant it’s even tough enough for floors. With our durable finishes, you can decorate when you want to, not because you have to.
